Canberra. Researchers at the National Science Agency of Australia have begun testing two vaccines for Kovid-19. In this, a vaccine has been developed by Oxford University. The second US company, Innovio Pharmaceuticals, has developed. The vaccine will first be tested on animals. According to reports by the news agency Xinhua, the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) says the first trial of the vaccine will be a pre-clinical trial conducted entirely on animals. CSIRO has said that it has begun the first phase of testing at the Australian Health Laboratory (AAHL) in Geelong.

Test will take three months

The test will take three months. This test will be done on the first ferret (fennel-mongoose animal). So that both vaccines are safe and effective. CSIRO chief executive Larry Marshall said researchers are working day and night to deal with the disease. Since January, CSIRO has been working closely with 'Collation for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI)', a global organization that manufactures vaccines.

The whole process will take 18 months

Scientists say the results of the test on animals may come in early June. If this result is correct and the standards are correct then the vaccine can be sent for clinical trial. After this, the results will be checked again. After meeting all the criteria, the process of bringing them into the market will be expedited. However, it may take about 18 months or a year and a half.
