The target of GDP (GDP) has not been set in the new budget. Earlier this situation was revealed in 1990. The budget deficit has also been reported over 2019. At the annual meeting of the National People's Congress (NPC), Prime Minister Li Kochiang said, "We have not set any target for economic growth this year. The country is struggling with some things. It is difficult to predict progress. This is due to coronavirus. Economies around the world have been affected, business has also been badly affected. "









 2987 members joined

A total of 2987 members of the National NPC attended the meeting. All the leaders of the ruling party arrived without a mask, with President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Li Kochiyang. However, some members also put on masks. Silent tributes were paid to those who lost their lives in the epidemic.









Hong Kong security related bill introduced

Anti-China protests have been ongoing in Hong Kong for several months. People are demanding a democratic officer. The Security Bill for Hong Kong was introduced at the annual meeting. It calls for a ban on activities like treason, terrorism, foreign interference and protest. Democracy supporters in the US and Hong Kong have criticized the bill. Shortly after the bill was introduced, anti-China protests in Hong Kong intensified.
