The United Nations has released the annual World Happiness Report (World Happiness Report) 2020. According to this report, Finland has been considered the happiest country in the world for the third consecutive year. Switzerland is at number two. It is followed by Denmark, Norway, Iceland and the Netherlands.









It was difficult to prepare the list of prosperous countries

According to the editors who prepared the report, it was quite difficult to compile a list of happiness this year due to the economic losses and continuing deaths due to the corona virus epidemic. People of most countries were very worried about the dreadful effects of Kovid-19.












Research is done on 156 countries

Significantly, on 20 March 2012, the United Nations declared World Happiness Day. The United Nations ranks 156 countries in its annual World Happiness Report on the basis of how happy its citizens feel. The level of happiness is measured by the United Nations on 6 factors. These factors include per capita income, healthy life expectancy, social support, independence, trust and generosity, common people's thinking about corruption. However, this year's report has been specially prepared keeping in mind the environment. In which it has been seen that how these three categories of social, urban and natural affect people's happiness.










Countries like Afghanistan, Sudan are less happy

The World Happiness Report has also noted war-torn locations. This year Afghanistan is on the top list of the world's unhappy country. After Afghanistan, this list includes countries like South Sudan and Zimbabwe.
