Impact of Corona / America gives 60 days exemption to H1-B Visa holders and Green card applicants, during this time they will be able to submit evidence and documents

 

   In the 60-day grace period, the visa holder and the green card applicant can withdraw or cancel their application.

    Also, in April, the Trump government decided to extend visas while exempting H1-B holders.

Washington. The US government has given a 60-day exemption to H-1B visa holders and green card applicants due to Coronavirus. However, this exemption is given only to those who have been given notice due to submission of documents. Coronavirus in the US is critical. There are more than 1 Million infected in the country, about 66 thousand people have lost their lives.

The American Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) said on Saturday that applicants would be given a 60-day grace period. In those who have been included in the exemption, the applicants will be able to submit their documents and proof, return their applications or cancel it. The US Immigration Service also said in a statement that we want to protect the jobs of Americans. 

In April, the Trump government gave relief. In
April, the US government decided to extend the visa to H-1B visa holders. The government had sought applications from H-1B visa holders whose visa permits were expiring and these people could not leave the country due to Corona. Such people were given extra time to stay.

What isH-1B Visa?
The H-1B visa is a non-migrant visa. American companies employ technical experts from other countries under this. After appointment, H-1B visas are sought from the government for these people. Most US IT companies recruit millions of employees every year from countries like India and China through this visa. As per the rule, if the company of an H-1B visa holder has terminated a contract with him, he will have to find a job in the new company within 60 days to maintain the visa status. According to USCIS, the biggest beneficiaries of H-1B visas are Indians.
